"A Picture of Health"

It is our pleasure to share with you the vital work Health First is doing to provide a healthier future for our community. Health First believes that to improve the health and well-being of those we serve, we must perform all aspects of our care at an exceptional level. Our goal is to consistently perform in the top 10% nationally in our core priorities of Quality, Safety, Customer Service and Stewardship.

At Health First, we believe that our community deserves nothing less than excellence in the health care they receive.

As an Integrated Delivery Network we are able to provide the right care at the right place and at the right time in a seamless continuum of care. Through our nationally recognized health insurance plans, four outstanding hospitals, exceptional medical group and extensive outpatient and wellness services, we are able to provide care for you and your family through all phases of life.

Unlike historic health care systems that focus on you when you are sick, we place significant emphasis on preventative services, wellness resources and disease-specific education to help community members maintain health and minimize disease and illness. Our strategy of wellness provides a higher quality of life, and helps ensure our ability to provide an affordable, accessible and sustainable healthcare system in the future.

We give back to the community through projects and collaborations that help those who are less fortunate and promote healthy lifestyles. It is our promise that no one is denied needed medical care, regardless of ability to pay. In fiscal year 2013, Health First provided more than $111 million in community support.

Health First, with its team of more than 7,800 associates, is committed to your health and wellness. Throughout our Integrated Delivery Network, we are focused on keeping you at the center of all we do.
