Lori is responsible for information technology strategy, governance and service delivery for all Health First operating divisions. In that role she oversees technology operations, application architecture, Clinical Informatics and the Project Management Office.
Lori previously served as a regional vice president for PatientKeeper®, a leading physician information systems provider in Waltham, MA, where she was responsible for customer relationship management and the overall success of PatientKeeper® software clients in the Eastern United States. Prior to that, Lori spent sixteen years with Halifax Health, a not-for-profit health system in Volusia County, FL. During her tenure at Halifax she served in multiple information technology leadership roles, including seven years as Chief Information Officer. Lori started her IT career with GE Aerospace, and is a graduate of GE's Information Technology Leadership Program.
Lori has successfully led IT strategy, operations and governance, and worked closely with service line administrators and health system leaders to align IT services with business objectives. While at Halifax Health, she and her team planned, staffed, and executed a large-scale EHR program, eHalifax, replacing disparate clinical and administrative systems with a single, integrated healthcare information system. As a result, Halifax Medical Center was recognized as one of the first 150 hospitals in the country to receive a Stage 6 HIMSS Analytics EMR Adoption Award. She also introduced best-practice project and portfolio management methodologies to reduce risk, manage costs, and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
Lori earned bachelor of arts and master of business administration degrees from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. She has completed a masters certificate in project management from George Washington University and has been trained as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
