Drew Rector
Executive Vice President
Chief Strategy Officer & Acting CEO, Health First Health Plans

As the Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer for Health First, Drew Rector is responsible for the overall construction of the integrated delivery network (IDN). Rector also leads Health First's customer interfaces, product development, sales, brand positioning, population analytics, service lines, outpatient & wellness services, and external partnerships. He currently serves as the Acting CEO of Health First Health Plans, which currently manages more than 150,000 members.

Raised in the Tampa Bay area, Drew relocated to Florida's Space Coast from St. Louis, where he served as a hospital President and Orthopedic Service Line Executive at SSM Healthcare. Drew has executive experience in the insurance, technology, physician practice and hospital system sectors of the health care industry. Rector was a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer for TraumaCare, a Colorado statewide PPO network for automotive and worker's compensation care and affiliated software company, CustomMed Solutions. He has significant practice management executive leadership experience, which includes his role as Chief Operating Officer of OrthoCarolina, an 85-physician musculoskeletal group practice. Prior to working with SSM Healthcare, Rector was a Division Vice President for Hospital Corporation of America (HCA).

After earning an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Rector attended the University of South Florida where he earned his Master of Business Administration degree. He is a graduate of the Cornell University Executive Leadership program. Rector also served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger Infantry member.
