Health First Health Plans partners with Parrish Health & Fitness Center

Rockledge, FL (October 21, 2011)—Parrish Health & Fitness Center has joined the Health First Health Plans provider network, giving plan members who live in north Brevard County a convenient location to take advantage of their fitness membership (a plan benefit provided at no extra charge). Plan members may access the Parrish facility beginning January 1, 2012, by presenting their Health First Health Plans membership ID card.
 
“Everyone enrolled in one of our Medicare Advantage or commercial plans is entitled to receive a membership at Health First’s Pro-Health & Fitness Centers at no extra cost,” said James Beermann, vice president of sales and marketing at Health First Health Plans. “Our partnership with Parrish Health & Fitness Center offers our members another venue for pursuing their fitness goals.”  

Parrish Health & Fitness Center is located at 2210 Cheney Highway in Titusville. Amenities include two indoor heated pools, strength training and cardio equipment, group fitness classes, outdoor walking/jogging path, gender-specific spas, steam rooms and saunas, fitness screenings, wellness coaching and free WiFi. Health First Pro-Health & Fitness Centers are located in Melbourne, Merritt Island, Palm Bay and Viera.  The centers feature group fitness and aquatic classes, weight machines, cardio equipment, pools, basketball and racquetball courts, wellness classes, and personalized services for an additional fee such as personal training, massage therapy, boot camp classes, and swimming lessons.
