Have You Been Screened?

Colon Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the United States, but Colon Cancer is 90% preventable through screening.  Colon Cancer screening helps your physician find polyps or cancer before you have symptoms.  This early detection can prevent polyps from becoming Cancer and help you start treatment early when it’s most effective.

It is recommended that men and women get screened at age 50, but there may be factors in your family history that could create a higher risk of colon cancer that may suggest you get screened earlier.

Health First Medical Group has highly-trained Gastroenterologist who can help you get the screening that’s right for you. For a physician referral call 321.434.4335. For a Health First Medical Group physician, click a name below.
