First Flight, Brevard County's only air ambulance serving East Central Florida since 1988, is the emergency helicopter transport service of Health First, based at Holmes Regional Medical Center & Trauma Center in Melbourne, Florida.

For pre-hospital incidents, First Flight is activated by local EMS providers or law enforcement to provide advanced rapid air transport to the most appropriate facilty.

Once a request is received, First Flight is enroute to the scene within minutes, saving precious moments of the patients "Golden Hour".

First Flight has all of the capabilities of a intensive care unit and highly trained personnel, so your loved ones will receive the most advanced care possible.
