Trauma Team
A variety of specially trained healthcare professionals treat trauma patients from pre-hospital care through recovery. We feel strongly that trauma care is a multi-disciplinary team effort integrating input from the public, businesses, industry, and government.
The Trauma Center team includes:
- Five trauma surgeons
- Three orthopedic trauma surgeons
- Critical care, emergency trained registered nurses
- Other dedicated staff members specially trained in trauma care including physician assistants, psychologists, nurse case managers, social workers, education/ outreach/ prevention coordinator, trauma registrar, quality analyst, and numerous support departments
The success of our trauma program is directly attributable to the contributions of each and every associate and volunteer within the Health First hospital system.
