Below is a list of support groups which are supported and initiated by Health First. All groups are open to the public and are free.

Craft Group A group, which meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Hospice office in Melbourne, offers fellowship for those who enjoy making handicrafts for our patients and families. Look Good, Feel Better This class provides instruction to female cancer patients on how to care for their skin during chemotherapy/radiation therapy and demonstrates new fashionable ways to protect and cover their heads during hair loss. This is a free service and not a support group, but it does provide support through camaraderie to those going through the cancer related treatment process. Moving Along A support group for survivors going through the grief process for over a year. Coordinated by a bereavement specialist, Moving Along is a more structured, topic-related group dealing with issues that emerge in the later stages of grief. New Fit Surgical Weight Loss Support Group Our groups offer support, guidance and education for those who have had or are considering weight loss surgery. Suddenly Alone A daytime group that supports both men and women in various stages of grief. Coordinated by a bereavement specialist, this group allows the paricipants the opportunity to share thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a caring and supportive environment.
