Below is a list of support groups which are supported and initiated by Health First.  All groups are open to the public and are free.

Alzheimer/Dementia Family Caregiver Support Group

Craft Group
A group, which meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Hospice office in Melbourne, offers fellowship for those who enjoy making handicrafts for our patients and families.  Newcomers are always welcome!

Look Good, Feel Better 
This class provides instruction to female cancer patients on how to care for their skin during chemotherapy/radiation therapy and demonstrates new fashionable ways to protect and cover their heads during hair loss.  This is a free service and not a support group, but it does provide support through camaraderie to those going through the cancer related treatment process.  For more information and to register for this class, call the American Cancer Society toll-free number, 1-800-395-5665 or visit the Look Good...Feel Better Web site at  www.lookgoodfeelbetter.org.  Each lady registered for this meeting receives a make-up bag valued at over $300.00 free of charge.

Moving Along
A support group for survivors going through the grief process for over a year. Coordinated by a bereavement specialist, Moving Along is a more structured, topic-related group dealing with issues that emerge in the later stages of grief.

New Fit Surgical Weight Loss Support Group
Our groups offer support, guidance and education for those who have had or are considering weight loss surgery.
Date and Time:  Viera Group meets every 2nd Monday of the month at 6 p.m.;  The Palm Bay Group meets every 4th Monday of the month at 6 p.m.;
Location:  The Viera group, meets at the Viera Pro Health and Fitness Center in the Wellness Classroom; The Palm Bay group, meets at Palm Bay Hospital in the Private Dining Room

Suddenly Alone 
A daytime group that supports both men and women in various stages of grief.  Coordinated by a bereavement specialist, this group allows the paricipants the opportunity to share thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a caring and supportive environment.

Working Through Grief
An evening group that is open to anyone who has experienced a death of a loved one.   A workbook will be available prior to the meeting.
