Health First Names Chief Administrative Officer for Health First Cape Canaveral Hospital
Rockledge, FL (November 14, 2013) – Health First is pleased to announce Randy Currin has been named Chief Administrative Officer for Health First Cape Canaveral Hospital. Currin previously served as Vice President of Growth & Development at Health First.
In this senior leadership role, Currin will be responsible for growth and community outreach at Health First Cape Canaveral Hospital. He will also focus on continuing to develop the Health First Orthopedics & Sports Medicine and Health First Neurosciences services lines.
Since beginning his career with Health First in May 2012, Currin has led the successful launch of Brevard’s first Neurosciences program with continuous Interventional Neuroradiology coverage (which represents one of only six in the state), implemented two new orthopedic centers and contributed to the improvement of a variety of quality measures.
Currin earned his Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University and his Master of Business Administration degree in Health Sector Management and Policy from the University of Miami. Prior to joining Health First, Currin served at HCA as the Vice President for Orthopedic/Spine/Neurosurgical Service Line Development. Before joining HCA, he worked with Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Specialty Manager.
