COCOA BEACH, FL - Who leads the pack in the Cocoa Beach area when it comes to top businesses? According to business leaders, it's Cape Canaveral Hospital!

Health First's Cape Canaveral Hospital was just awarded the top spot in its category - large not-for-profit company - at the 21st Annual "Business of the Year Awards" Ceremony held by the Better Business Development Council of the Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.

The panel that selected Cape Canaveral Hospital was comprised of leaders from both the public and private sectors.

"We are honored that the Chamber chose us for this award," said Cape Canaveral Hospital President R. Roy Wright. "Our commitment to this community goes beyond just helping those individuals who walk in our doors. We take our responsibility as good corporate citizens just as seriously."

The award was presented to Cape Canaveral Hospital during a special ceremony held at the Cocoa Village Playhouse.
