Helping close to home
ROCKLEDGE, FL - As part of its commitment to helping the local community, the Health First Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications from graduating high school seniors who are seriously interested in pursuing a degree in a healthcare-related field. The scholarships are an excellent opportunity for Brevard County students to start a career in a health-related field, as well as for a way Health First can further support the community that has always been its home.
Scholarships will be awarded only to eligible students from high schools in Brevard County or to students who were awarded a Health First Foundation Scholarship in 2010 and are continuing their studies while engaging in a medical or health-related career. All scholarship applicants must have maintained a GPA of 3.0.
Foundation scholarship applications are accessible online now at:
www.health-first.org/ways to help/foundation.cfm.
Completed scholarship packages must be received by the Health First Foundation no later than 4:30 pm on Friday, March 25, 2011. A letter of notification will be sent to all applicants within three to four weeks of the application deadline. You can also obtain applications by calling the Health First Foundation Office at 321-868-2720.
