Knowing CPR can be the difference between life and death at the office, in your home, or on your child's ball field. On Saturday, June 9, Health First is helping you make that difference. Beginning at 8 am Health First will launch its fourth annual Free CPR Day called "Operation CPR" at Space Coast Stadium in Viera.
Gates open at 8 am and training begins at 9 am. Individuals will be trained in the critical life-saving skill of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), as well as the proper use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Children ages 5 and above are welcome along with individuals and groups. Pre-registration is required to participate. Other activities and displays include: Brevard Zoo education station, Brevard County Sheriff and Fire Rescue personnel and equipment; landing of the Health First Air Ambulance - First Flight; balloon artist, magician, and more!
Individuals who complete the group training provided by The Training Center of Health First will receive a certificate for American Heart Association's "Friends and Family CPR Training", a free "Trained to Save a Life" T-shirt, one free ticket voucher to either the July 4th or 9th Brevard County Manatees game, as well as a certificate for a free personal gourmet pizza from Pizza Gallery & Grill.
