Only 36 physicians NATIONWIDE received this award

ROCKLEDGE, FL - Alphonse Pecoraro, Jr., MD, FACS, Cancer Liaison Physician (CLP) for the Cape Canaveral Hospital Cancer Program recently received an "Outstanding Performance Award" for going above and beyond the scope of the normal duties of serving as a CLP between the hospital's cancer program and the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACoS CoC).

Also a member of HF Physicians and the CCH Medical Staff, Dr. Pecoraro was recognized at the annual ACOS COC meeting in Chicago recently for his outstanding work in support of the CCH Cancer Program.

Nationally only 36 physicians received this award.

Dr. Pecoraro continues to show outstanding leadership and performance for Cancer Care at CCH and in Brevard County.
