Jamie Forrest Named Vice President of Health First Health Plans
Rockledge, FL (March 14, 2014) – Health First is pleased to announce Jamie Forrest as its new Vice President of Health First Health Plans. Forrest joined Health First Health Plans in 2006 as Manager of Group Services. In her new role, she is responsible for strategic planning, product development, fiscal management, project management and the overall performance of Florida Hospital Care Advantage (FHCA).
In 2008, Forrest joined the Sales & Marketing Department as Manager of Sales & Operations. Since that time, she has gained experience in managing Medicare Sales, Commercial Sales and Account Management. Forrest also lead the application process to successfully incorporate and obtain a certificate of authority for Health First Insurance, Inc., a sister company to Health First Health Plans. Health First Insurance operates under an indemnity license to support greater flexibility in product offerings such as the recently launched individual product.
As Director of Growth & Development for the Health Plan, Forrest was the partnership liaison with Florida Hospital and responsible for leading the comprehensive health assessment program from an integrated delivery system approach.
Forrest completed her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Healthcare Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
