Rockledge, FL (October 27, 2008) — J.D. Power and Associates has recognized Health First Health Plans' (HFHP) Call Center for providing "An Outstanding Customer Service Experience."
J.D. Power and Associates measured effectiveness in quality assurance, performance standards, management responsibilities, and recruiting and training of employees. The certification program sends a clear message that HFHP's call center is process-oriented, professionally managed, and focused on providing the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
In addition to reviewing internal processes, J.D. Power and Associates also surveyed a random sample of HFHP members to measure their satisfaction with recent interactions with staff at the call center. Only those call centers that score in the top 20 percent according to a national benchmark are eligible to become certified by J.D. Power and Associates.
"The auditors reviewed several aspects of our customer service and found just what they were looking for — alignment throughout the organization of Health First's mission, vision, and values," said Amy Reid, director of Customer Service. She added, "This is tremendous achievement. Congratulations to our staff, who are so clearly committed to the service we provide and proud of the organization we represent."
"We know it's important to have our customer service staff living and working right here in Brevard, so our representatives have a full understanding of our members' needs and the services available in our area," said Peter Weiss, MD, CEO of HFHP. "Our members always tell us that personal attention really makes a difference, and it shows. We may be a small, local health plan, but meeting J.D. Power and Associates' high standards demonstrates that our customer service is among the highest in the nation."
