Get InvolvedThere are so many ways to get involved with Hospice of Health First. You can be any age and give as much or as little time as you can through. Be a Volunteer Helping Children - Volunteer at Bright Star Unlike most social service organizations, Bright Star receives no support from federal, state, or local governments, insurance reimbursement, or third-party payments. Families contribute as they're able, but no child is ever turned away. The support of individuals, local businesses, organizations, foundations, and corporations allow us to turn the light on in a child's life after experiencing the death of a loved one. Consider sponsoring a child through a tax-deductible scholarship, or supporting Bright Star through a memorial, will or bequest, or an honorary gift. For further information about Bright Star or its programs, volunteering, or providing financial support, contact us at 321-733-7672. Donate to the Health First Foundation Through support of the Health First Foundation, facilities can be built and renovated, new patient services launched, life-saving equipment purchased, and high-quality doctors and nurses recruited and retained. We hope you'll consider making a donation to Hospice of Health First and/or the William Childs Hospice House through the Health First Foundation. There are many ways to give and the list of donors includes individuals who have given gifts of cash, appreciated securities, real estate, stock, life insurance, and annuities. Through the use of corporate matching gifts, many companies encourage their employees to make charitable contributions. Some individuals prefer to include Health First in their wills or trusts. We would be happy to discuss the advantages of charitable gift-planning options with you. For additional information, please contact Jeanene Donilon, Director of Individual Giving at 321-434-7353.
