Syed Bhat, MD


Dr. Syed Bhat is an American Board of Internal Medicine certified Internist. He obtained his Medical Doctorate at University of Kashmir and J&K State, and he completed his Residency training at Hahnemann University affiliated program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He joined Charles Cale Hospital where he served as a physician for six years. During this time period, he also served as Chairman of Infection Control and worked on State-sponsored projects for the Hospital. He also has experience working as a physician for a multi-specialty group. Dr. Bhat is a member of American College of Physicians and has received various honors during his academic career.

He now brings his clinical skills and experience to the Brevard County community where he intends to serve and grow his practice. He is able to see patients at Health First's Palm Bay Hospital and Health First's Holmes Regional Medical Center.

His interests include hypertension management, diabetes, lung diseases, high cholesterol, arthritis, preventative care, cancer screening, and a wide variety of adult and elderly illnesses. He has special interest in Cardiology.

He is married to his wife, Rubia, and has two children, Faris and Iman. He enjoys playing tennis, volleyball, and chess.
