Malinda Newcombe, MD
I went to undergraduate at St Joseph's University in Philly and received my undergrad in biology with a minor in psychology. My medical degree is from Temple University where I graduated with honors. I was proud to go to my 1st choice of residency at Halifax Medical Center. I was hoping to go to a program that would prepare me in all aspects of family medicine. It was rigorous and just what I hoped it to be.
I am a Philadelphia native who always enjoyed the sunshine, the beach and the outdoors. I have lived in Florida since 1997, and am proud to call Melbourne my home. I enjoy seeing patients of all ages, from birth on up. I do take a special interest in preventative health measures, women's health issues and skin procedures. I am a mother of 2 children and my time with my family is some of the most precious to me, however, I deeply value my relationships with my patients and the trust they place in my hands to help them.
In October of 2013 received NCQA recognition for Delivery of Quality Diabetes Care.
