Oscar O'Neill, MD

Family Medicine

Dr. Oscar O'Neill-Rosado is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. He completed his undergraduate degree from Universidad de Puerto Rico. He received his Medical Degree at the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in 2001 and completed his Residency Training at Pennsylvania State and The Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. O'Neill-Rosado was the Chief Resident during his last year of training and was awarded an excellence award for being an excellent teacher and role model by Pennsylvania State Medical School students.

After Residency, he moved to Waco, TX, where he worked with the local underserved population under the National Health Service Corps. After his time serving with the Corps, Dr. O'Neill-Rosado moved back to Pennsylvania and worked for Lehigh Valley Health Network. He also functioned as a community preceptor and later part- time faculty for the Lehigh Valley Family Medicine Residency Program. He was an active part for the development of their diabetic education program for Latinos.

Dr. O'Neill Rosado served in the US Army as an MI-A1 tanker and is a Desert Storm veteran. He later served in the Puerto Rico Army National Guard. After a break in service, he joined the Pennsylvania Air National Guard and deployed as a physician to Kandahar, Afghanistan, for 7 months between 2009 and 2010.

Dr. O'Neill-Rosado enjoys spending time with his family, he is married with 2 children and his hobbies include physical fitness, running, astronomy, video games, movies and cars.
