Cristi Ziolkowski, ARNP
Cristi Ziolkowski is an ARNP for Health First Medical Group, supporting the areas of Assisted Living Facilities, Home Health, Physical Therapy, and Durable Medical Equipment. Cristi earned her Associate of Science of Nursing degree from Excelsior College in Albany, NY. She then earned a Bachelor of Science of Nursing degree and a Master of Science of Nursing degree from the University of Phoenix. She completed her post-graduate Adult Nurse Practitioner certificate from Ball State University in Muncie, IN.
Prior to joining Health First, Cristi worked for Family Home Physicians, an independent home-based primary care and supplemental care practice. There she provided medical care - ranging from routine checkups and preventative care to treating serious illnesses and diagnostic testing -- to patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, and senior apartments. Prior to this position, she served for eight years as the MIMA Physician Liaison for Gentiva Health Services, a provider of home health and hospice services. She was in charge of clinical management of patient care. She also held several management positions, including sales and marketing for a new Physician Liaison program, coordination of the electronic medical records system, education of the EMR program and homecare regulations, managing all patient orders and tracking processes, coordination of patient referrals from outside facilities, and staff development training.
Cristi spent 18 years in the field of nursing. She served as a Staff Nurse and Wound Care Nurse for Arbors of Melbourne. Cristi then was an RN for Dr. Richard Baney, Jr., an internal medicine physician, providing diabetic/insulin teaching and monitoring. Two years later she served as an RN for Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center, working with post-op orthopedic and trauma patients. In 2002 she was an RN and Rehabilitation Liaison for HealthSouth Sea Pines.
She is an Examining Committee Member for the Brevard County 18th Judicial Court in Brevard. She has completed more than 200 evaluations of alleged incapacitated examinees and serves as a court expert when needed.
Cristi lives in Melbourne with her husband and two children.
