Health First Names Chief Nursing Officer

Rockledge, FL (November 11, 2013) – Health First is pleased to announce Connie Bradley (RN, MSN, FACHE, CNE) as its new Chief Nursing Officer. Bradley has an exemplary 25 year career in health services. In her new role, she will be responsible for the planning, organization and delivery of effective, efficient and high-quality patient care across the Health First system. Bradley will also work together with management, medical staff and clinical areas in planning, promoting and conducting system wide performance improvement activities.

Most recently, Bradley led clinical operations as the Vice President of Hospital Operations and Chief Nursing Officer in the inpatient and ambulatory settings of Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital system located in Milwaukee, WI. Columbia St. Mary's is sponsored by Ascension Health, the largest Catholic and nonprofit health system in the US, and the system where Connie began her career in 1987 as an RN.

“Connie’s experiences during her tenure at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital will bring a fresh perspective and outlook to her new role with Health First,” said Health First Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer Stuart Mitchell. “She has demonstrated a constant commitment to building trusting partnerships with physicians and the community, and a desire to make positive changes in delivery of care through strategic planning and associate engagement.”

Bradley has a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marquette University, and will receive her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (Executive Leadership) from Concordia University in 2014.
