BACKGROUND: Health First Foundation Board of Directors member and President of Rivertree Builders Barry Richardson is chairing this year’s tournament. He will be assisted by vice chair and Manager of Florida Business Bank Terry Gabbard. This year’s event will feature a “scramble” format, allowing each team to count only the best shots. “It’s a format that allows novice golfers to play and have fun as well as those more experienced with the game,” says Richardson. “We want everyone to feel welcome and to come enjoy the day while supporting this great cause.” The tournament will also offer a variety of games and contests, including chances to win cash and other prizes, including sports equipment, golf outings, and more. Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams finishing each course. Participants will be given their choice of courses on a first-come, first-choice basis.
