Health First Names Kimberly Agee New Director of External Affairs
ROCKLEDGE, FL (June 13, 2013) — Health First is pleased to announce Kimberly Meehan Agee as its new Director of External Affairs. For more than two decades, Agee has been involved in multiple facets of government and community affairs. On local, regional, state and federal levels, Agee has been at the forefront of devising key community, economic development and business strategies.
In her new role, Agee will be responsible for monitoring pending healthcare legislation at the state and federal level, as well as creating and maintaining goodwill and visibility within the business and legislative communities of Health First.
She has served in numerous positions within the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast from 1993 to 2009 and most recently provided direction and corporate relations services for BRPH architects and the Canaveral Port Authority.
In 2010, Agee was named one of the 100 Most Powerful People by Space Coast Business Magazine. The magazine also named her one of the Most Influential Business Leaders in Brevard County in 2008. She was named Brevard County’s Manager of the Year by the National Management Association in 2009. In 2005, she received LEAD Brevard’s first Emerging Leaders – 4 Under 40 Award.
