Cesar Jara, MD, is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, interventional cardiology and cardiac computed tomography.

His professional interests and focuses include structural heart disease including Balloon Aortic Valvuloplasty (BAV), Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), coronary interventional angioplasty/stent including laser therapy, carotid, renal, peripheral vascular angioplasty/stents, PFO/ASD closure, intracardiac echo (ICE) and transesophageal echo (TEE).

Dr. Jara earned his medical degree from Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University in Lima,Peru. He completed his residency at VAMC/University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center Program in Miami, Florida where he was Chief Medical Resident and recipient of the Martin H. Stein Memorial Award as a cardiology and interventional cardiology fellow. He had further training for interventional cardiovascular procedures and Cardiac Computed Tomography (CCT) at University of Florida, Gainesville, FL and Northwestern University, Chicago, IL.
